Ladybugs are one of the most widly spread bugs in the world, inhabiting the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. They are omnivores, living off plants and other smaller bugs. While they aren't poisonous, they release a sour tasting oil when they feel threatened, which repels predators. Ladybugs are sometimes known to bite, however most are pacifists.
